Agile Delivery Manager- NextRequest

This position will lead and orchestrate the successful delivery of software development projects using agile frameworks, ensuring they meet organizational goals and needs. The Agile Delivery Manager works cross-functionally to manage expectations, timelines, and risks, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing agile software development team. As a strategic liaison between internal stakeholders and the development team, the Agile Delivery Manager creates clear action plans from project requirements and drives successful project completion. 

We’re excited to hire a new Agile Delivery Manager who can:

  • Project Management: Manage projects using agile methodologies, defining milestones, and tracking progress and metrics.​ 
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and impediments and develop strategies to mitigate them before they impact project timelines or quality.​ 
  • Communication Champion: Foster open and transparent communication within the development team and with internal stakeholders. Communicate project progress, roadblocks, and decisions effectively. Facilitate team ceremonies ensuring alignment with agile principles.​ 
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement. Implement process enhancements to optimize delivery efficiency and quality.​ 
  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor team members on process improvement, efficiency, and agile concepts.  Foster a collaborative and problem-solving culture within the team.​ 
  • Decision-Making: Make informed decisions based on data, project constraints, and stakeholder input. Take ownership of project outcomes and adapt to changing circumstances.

There is no perfect candidate, but we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project management, delivery, or a related field.  
  • 2+ years of experience managing projects using agile methodologies.  
  • Scrum Master and Project Management certifications a plus.  
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.  
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak to a variety of audiences about technical concepts.  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.  
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.  
  • Comfortable working with multiple cross-functional and remote teams in the US and overseas  
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated Salary Range: $70,300 – $101,300 annually.  The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
